Drainage
All installations have integrated drainage systems so that moisture runs off effectively. Poor drainage can rot an artificial grass and cause movement. Granite dust, unlike sands, will not absorb water.
Granite dusts can be laid at depths of up to 25mm.

A membrane in a fabric textile sits between sub-bases and artificial grass to form a barrier that stops weeds from penetrating through the surface. These membranes can sit above or beneath the drainage.
